Quick Start Guide

Get your first Kayde website live in under 5 minutes. This guide will walk you through creating an account, building your first site, and publishing it to the web.

Prerequisites

• A modern web browser
• Email address for account creation
• Basic understanding of web concepts (helpful but not required)

Step 1: Create Your Account

1. Sign up at builder.kayde.io

   https://builder.kayde.io/app/connect

2. Verify your email - Check your inbox and click the verification link

3. Complete your profile - Add your name and choose a username

Step 2: Create Your First Site

1. Click “New Site” from your dashboard
2. Choose a template or start from scratch
3. Select your site type:
   • Landing Page - Perfect for businesses and portfolios
   • Blog - Content-focused sites with built-in CMS
   • E-commerce - Online stores with payment integration
   • Custom - Build anything with our visual editor

Step 3: Design Your Website

Add components by dragging them from the sidebar onto your page

Click any element to edit text, colors, images, and styling

Preview and adjust your design for mobile, tablet, and desktop

Step 4: Add Content

1. Edit text by clicking directly on any text element
2. Upload images using the media manager
3. Create pages from the Pages panel
4. Set up navigation in the site settings

Domain Setup

1. Choose a free .kayde.io subdomain, or
2. Connect your custom domain (yoursite.com)
3. SSL certificates are automatically provisioned

Step 6: Publish Your Site

1. Preview your site using the preview button
2. Check for errors in the validation panel
3. Click “Publish” to make your site live
4. Share your URL - your site is now accessible worldwide
